Description
A contested throne. Political alliances. The breakdown of diplomacy. A treacherous shift in the balance of power. It’s always the same with war. We read about the people who start them but never about the ones fighting them. The men and women who crowd the trenches, fill the army trucks, work tirelessly at the military factories just to keep the enormous machine of war chugging along inexorably. But looking at the uniforms they wore, faded and threadbare now from the years that have passed, you can almost see the people who’d worn them before your eyes, their many different faces, and the bullet-holes stitch themselves up.
