Description
The Shibori Anthurium is among the rarest anthurium blooms in the world, finding their origins in Central and South America. The anthurium ‘flower’ – which is in reality a wide, red leaf surrounding the real flower – takes on a wholly unique pattern in the Shibori. The pink-and-red spathe bears a curious speckled pattern, as though red paint were being dripped on white, mixing to make that distinct pink. It almost resembles a artist’s palette as he paints a flock of flamingo against the setting sun.
