Description
The Great Hornbill is a bird native to the lush jungles of the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia. One of the largest hornbills in existence, its jet black plumage contrasts strikingly with the bright yellow feathers on its head and its distinctive golden beak. This horned beak, larger than its entire head, curves downward, tapering in a sharp tip that’s perfect for piercing and picking at the flesh of fruit growing in the treetops.
