    • Avoid direct contact with perfume, hairspray, lotion, or makeup. Apply first, pin after.
    • Cleaning: Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or small brush. No chemicals, no wipes.
    • Handling: Open/close the pin slowly. Hold the metal base, not the embroidery. Don’t pull loose threads—trim carefully if a snag occurs.
    • Storage: Lay flat in a pouch/box, away from sun and humidity. Add a silica gel sachet if possible.
    • Zardozi/metal accents: Keep dry to prevent dulling. Wipe with a dry cloth only.
    • Travel: Pack in its pouch/box; avoid tossing it loose in a handbag.
