Shipping & Returns Policy

This page is used to inform visitors and users regarding the shipping & returns policy (“Shipping & Returns”) of our website www.underlyn.com (“Website”) along with the services provided by Underlyn Art Pvt. Ltd. (“Company”; “Underlyn”; “our”; “we”; or “us”) for both retail/direct consumers through the Website. 

SHIPPING 

DOMESTIC SHIPPING (INDIA ONLY)

  1. We currently ship only within India through trusted logistics partners. All prices listed on our website are in INR and inclusive of applicable taxes.

  • Orders over ₹5,000 qualify for free VIP shipping.

  • Orders under ₹5,000 may incur a nominal shipping fee based on the weight and dimensions of the product. This fee will be clearly shown at checkout before payment.

  1. Each artwork is carefully handcrafted and made to order. Estimated processing times are mentioned on each product page. Once your order is ready, it will be dispatched, and delivery typically takes 2–4 working days. You'll receive a tracking link via email once your package is shipped.

  2. Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery. Orders are generally delivered between 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Saturday.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

  1. While we don’t currently offer direct international shipping through the website, we’re happy to ship worldwide on request. If you’re located outside India, please contact us at support@underlyn.com and we’ll provide a quote for international shipping based on your location and product selection.

ORDER PROCESSING AND SHIPPING

  1. All Underlyn products are shipped directly from our atelier in India. We aim to ship all orders within the time frame stated on the product page. If you order multiple items, we usually ship them together. You’ll receive an email confirmation with tracking details once your order is on its way.

  2. We are unable to accommodate changes to the shipping address once the order has been dispatched.

POSSIBLE DELAYS

  1. Whilst we strive to ensure the timely delivery of all orders, please bear in mind that we are only provided with an estimated delivery date from our carriers. Life can sometimes prove unpredictable and certain scenarios are beyond our control, so on the odd occasion an order may arrive outside of the estimated time frame - in these exceptional circumstances, we appreciate your patience and understanding.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

  1. You can track your order via our shipping confirmation email. If you don’t happen to receive your tracking details, please contact us at support@underlyn.com with your order details and we’d be more than happy to assist.



PACKAGING & GIFTING

  1. All Underlyn products are carefully packaged using recycled and biodegradable materials that are 100% recyclable. Our packaging is as beautiful as it is durable — designed to be reused or gifted forward.

  2. If you’re purchasing a gift, please add a note with your message during checkout and we’ll handwrite it for you on a beautiful card and include it with your order. Price tags are never included on the products — so your gift stays classy and surprise-ready.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES and CANCELLATIONS

  1. Since each Underlyn product is made to order, all purchases are considered non-returnable and non-exchangeable. We do not accept returns or exchanges for items that are delivered in perfect condition and match the order placed.

However, if you receive a product that is damaged or incorrect, we will gladly assist you in resolving the issue. Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the item at support@underlyn.com, and we’ll guide you through the next steps.

  1. Returns will be accepted only if:

  • You contact us within the specified window and receive our written approval for the return.

  • The product is unused, in its original condition, with all tags, packaging, and hardware intact.

  • The item matches the criteria for being defective, damaged in transit, or incorrectly shipped.

  1. Once approved, we will arrange for return shipping via one of our trusted courier partners and provide you with a return label. Products sent back without approval or through unapproved carriers will not be accepted.

  2. Please note that we do not allow cancellations once an order has been placed and payment has been processed. Each artwork is created specifically for you, and production begins shortly after your order is confirmed.

PLEASE NOTE

  • Underlyn’s artworks are handcrafted by skilled artisans. Variations in texture, color, and minor imperfections are not flaws, but rather the hallmarks of a handmade product.

  • Colors may vary slightly from what you see on screen due to lighting, photography, and screen settings.

  • Hanging hardware (wall screws, plugs, etc.) included with your order is complementary and provided at your discretion. We do not offer warranties on third-party hardware.
