    A love letter to vintage Indian matchbox art, reimagined for the wall. Bullhead Matchbox magnifies a familiar collectible into a bold, witty relic—its fierce, festooned bull head pops in relief while tiny graphic motifs nod to bazaar nostalgia.

    Sculpted using dense metallic embroidery on a smooth suede ground, each horn, eye and border is raised with meticulous padding for true 3-D form. The “striking surface” runs along both sides, stitched in a cross-hatch of metallic thread. We frame it in a handcrafted pine wood box shaped like a real matchbox; the artwork projects 3.5" from the wall for dramatic shadow-play. As with all handmade Underlyn pieces, subtle variation is part of its character—your artwork will be uniquely yours.

    Care Details

    - The safest way to remove loose dust and dirt is by carefully using a lint roller or a soft brush on the textile.
    - Vacuuming can also be done using a nozzle covered with muslin or stocking, held on with an elastic band.
    - Keep away from excessive moisture and humidity. Do not display it in cold and damp areas.
    - Remember to occasionally dust off the back of the frame to prevent dust particles from harming the artwork.
    - Do not pull any loose ends. Clip them with scissors.
