Product Details

A galaxy of rangoli petals radiates from the center, recalling festive thresholds and palatial courtyards. The Queen’s Crown translates this ancient Indian floor art into a richly detailed, extra-large wall piece—majestic indigo punctuated with delicate ivory dots.

Worked completely by hand, artisans build the pattern using only French knots and short stitches for satisfying texture and shadow.

Product Dimensions: 26” × 41”

What’s Included:

  • Ready-to-hang framed embroidered wall art

  • Black-stained solid pinewood frame (fire-crafted Ren series)

  • Cotton canvas backing

  • Hanging hardware

  • Secure, corrugated packaging

Note: Since every Underlyn product is an original work of art that’s handmade, subtle variations may occur in colour and/or craftsmanship. This is what makes our products truly one-of-a-kind.

- Vacuuming can also be done using a nozzle covered with muslin or stocking, held on with an elastic band.
- Keep away from excessive moisture and humidity. Do not display it in cold and damp areas.
- Remember to occasionally dust off the back of the frame to prevent dust particles from harming the artwork.
- Do not pull any loose ends. Clip them with scissors.

Stylist's Notes

  • Rangoli grandeur

Let The Queen’s Crown command a calm, neutral living room. The deep-indigo embroidery loves chalky plaster or warm ivory paint, a charcoal linen sofa and a slim teak or black wood console. Echo the dotted French-knot texture with matte ceramic vases and a woven jute rug; add one or two brass accents for a quiet glow. Hang with the artwork’s centre ~145 cm from the floor and keep 18–22 cm clearance above a sofa for breathing room. A picture light or a soft uplight will skim the surface and make the rangoli pattern bloom without glare. Keep surrounding textiles simple—oat, ecru, charcoal—so the indigo and white take the spotlight.
