    Product Details

Madurai Shikhara distils the flamboyant gopuram of the Meenakshi Amman Temple into a 61-cm square of pure spectacle.

The scene is printed with archival pigments on plush velour. Slight, handmade shifts in print saturation and fiber lay ensure no two canvases feel factory-flat; each one carries its own patina, like temple walls weathered by monsoon and incense.

On the wall, those kaleidoscopic tiers act as a visual drumbeat—energizing open-plan living rooms, sparking conversation in dining nooks, and lifting minimalist corners into maximalist joy.

    Product Dimensions: 24” × 24”

    What’s Included

    • Ready-to-hang framed textile artwork

    • Cotton canvas backing

    • Pre-mounted hanging hardware

    • Secure, gift-ready corrugated box

    Care Details

    - The safest way to remove loose dust and dirt is by carefully using a lint roller or a soft brush on the textile.
    - Vacuuming can also be done using a nozzle covered with muslin or stocking, held on with an elastic band.
    - Keep away from excessive moisture and humidity. Do not display it in cold and damp areas.
    - Remember to occasionally dust off the back of the frame to prevent dust particles from harming the artwork.
    - Do not pull any loose ends. Clip them with scissors.

    Stylist's Notes

    • The Console Lean

Skip the nails and let Madurai Shikhara simply lean on a rustic oak or reclaimed-wood console. The velour’s saturated reds and peacock blues ignite the grain of the timber, while a single matte earthenware vase filled with airy white lunaria keeps the vignette from feeling heavy. Stack a couple of linen-bound books and a woven rattan tray on the opposite end to echo the temple’s layered tiers—balancing colour with quiet, natural texture. The result is an effortless shrine to craft that’s equal parts maximalist energy and modern restraint.
