- The safest way to remove loose dust and dirt is by carefully using a lint roller or a soft brush on the textile.
- Vacuuming can also be done using a nozzle covered with muslin or stocking, held on with an elastic band.
- Keep away from excessive moisture and humidity. Do not display it in cold and damp areas.
- Remember to occasionally dust off the back of the frame to prevent dust particles from harming the artwork.
- Do not pull any loose ends. Clip them with scissors.
Inspired by the beautiful Indian folk art of "Rangoli", this beautiful framed wall art is made entirely by hand, with French knots and stem stitches. The stunning deep blue suede background fabric is soft and luxurious. The cotton threadwork is intricate, with hundreds of French knots and stem stitches, carefully done over 110 hours of meticulous work. The final piece is then canvas framed using solid pine wood, which is then seated in our special edition frame 'Ren' from our fire-crafted frame series. Our fire-crafted frames are made by using an age-old Japanese technique of wood preservation, popularly known as Shou Sugi Ban. The wood is first charred carefully, brushed by hand, stained, and then massaged using linseed oil to ensure a textural yet lustrous surface - all done by Underlyn's talented woodworking artisans.
Statement-making pieces can take a home from simple to striking, but snag too many and you may overwhelm your space. One rule of thumb to follow? Put a single showstopper in every room. With its deep blue textured background and the hundreds of French knots on top, you'll find no better showstopper than "The Queen's Crown." Display this large framed tapestry in your foyer or living room, leaving enough space around it, and it'll become the crown jewel of your art collection.
A big advantage of "The Queen's Crown" is that it is amenable to hanging both vertically and horizontally. It is a good choice to hang this horizontally if you have a larger wall or to emphasize another horizontal element in the room, such as a rectilinear dining table or seating group.
Our beautifully crafted XL sized artworks come safely packed in our super-chic, gift-ready corrugated boxes that are as strong as they are soulful! We believe 'packaging' is part of the products we create - and our goal is to make our materials as earth-friendly as possible.
To experience the majesty of the natural world is a privilege we do not take for granted. Even the smallest sustainable gestures can shape our future - that’s why all Underlyn packaging is made of either recycled and/or biodegradable materials and is 100% recyclable.
